Training Checklist

The trainer is to pull the relevant toolbox talks and risk assessments for the employee and check their competencies are in date for the role of which they are undertaking. All Risk Assessments and Toolbox Talks are available on Sharepoint. All can be signed using the sign off register. Please note the below is an example of the minimum expected for technicians. Please note, the employee must sign up to all Risk Assessments for the work in which they do.

Weekly Fire Tests. Bi-Annual Fire Drills.

Taken between 12.00-14.00. 30 minutes. No eating at desks.

Outside Grass Area at DALROD Peterborough.

First floor, tea, coffee and seating

Toilets:
Male, Female and Disabled.

How to raise the alarm:
Press the red call point button located at every main exit.
Safety Clothing:
Only required in the yard of Peterborough. Induction to be arranged by Branch Manager.
Action to be taken on discovering a fire:
• Raise the alarm by hitting the nearest call point. • Tackle the fire if safe to do so. • Exit the building by nearest fire exit and shut off windows and doors where safe to do so.
Lone Working:
Lone Working to be approved by Line Managers. Head Office rarely lone work.
Waste:
Waste receptacles available in the office. Bins are only recyclable downstairs. Food waste receptacle present upstairs.
Smoking:
In designated areas only near the bike sheds, vaping is the same.
Work Areas:
Access to all through main reception. Franchisees are not to enter unless escorted.
Notice Board:
Located in canteen.
Accident Reporting:
Report all accidents to Matt Montague.
Sign in / Out:
Sign in and out when entering and leaving the building.
Accident Book:
Located with HSEQ Advisor.
Access to building / site:
Main entrance reception. Fobs required.
First Aid Boxes:
Located adjacent to gents toilets.
Parking Area:
Designated Bays near cycle shed, park one behind another. Not in front of Dave’s Office.
